Manchester United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy is leaving his role as PSV Eindhoven coach with immediate effect.
The Dutch head coach is not happy with the circumstances at the giant club.
Van Nistelrooy led PSV to second place in the Eredivisie, with Feyenoord winning the title.
PSV also won the Dutch Cup and Dutch Super Cup, while they lost to Sevilla in the Europa League.
A club statement confirmed the decision had come from Van Nistelrooy, not PSV.
It read: “PSV regrets Van Nistelrooy's decision and is grateful to him for winning the Johan Cruyff Scale and the TOTO KNVB Cup this season and hopes to close the football year with second place."
