PSV Eindhoven coach Philipp Cocu accepts star attacker Memphis Depay will soon leave.

Depay is being linked with Real Madrid, Tottenham and Manchester United.

Cocu remarked: "It is always sad to lose such players. On the other hand, we should be proud as a club. He is a child of our academy and went through all the steps.

"Now he is one of the key players for the first team."

Asked about comparisons with Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben, Cocu added: "They both have a lot of speed and a good shot.

"But they are not the same player."
