PSG have made an attempt for Manchester City's wantaway midfielder Brahim Diaz.

Off contract in June, Diaz has rejected City's attempts to discuss new terms and is now in advanced talks with Real Madrid.

A deal is said to have already been settled with the Spanish giants - but not before PSG made their attempt.

AS says PSG sports chief Antero Henrique has spoken several times in recent weeks with Diaz's camp, but in the end accepted he wanted to return to Spain.

The 19 year-old is expected to see out the season in England before moving to Real in June.
