PSG striker Cavani: Liverpool? I'd like to see them in Ligue 1

PSG striker Edinson Cavani insists there's no reason for panic after their Champions League defeat at Liverpool.

PSG lost 3-2 last night at Anfield.

Cavani reflected: "The defeat against Anfield? I think it's normal. Liverpool is one of the best teams in Europe right now. In a match like that, sometimes we win and sometimes we lose.

"I would like to see these Premier League teams compete in the French Championship so we can see how they behave. This does not detract from Ligue 1 and I do not wish to speak ill of the French League since France is world champion and many players come from Ligue 1.

"The French teams are still well placed in the League of champions. So I think it's just football. We must use this experience and continue to move forward, that's all."
