Paris Saint-Germain could be without midfield lynchpin Marco Verratti for the UEFA Champions League ties against Manchester United.

The two sides go head to head in the round of 16, with the first leg at Old Trafford on February 12th.

And PSG, who already have midfield injury issues, may have to do without Verratti after he was injured in a 9-0 win over Guingamp.

PSG coach Thomas Tuchel said to reporters after the game: "I think that it is serious. Really, it is the worst thing that could have happened to us."

He added: "We have several options in midfield - Marco with Marquinhos, Dani (Alves) with Marco, Dani with Julian (Draxler), or Dani with Marquinhos. However, without Marco, and with Presnel (Kimpembe) still injured, we only have one choice."
