PSG are rocked by news that Neymar will miss both legs of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash with Manchester United.

The French champions are desperate to win the Champions League this season after recent failures.

And a draw against a struggling United was seen as a great opportunity to progress further.

While PSG are still favorites, Neymar's absence due to a foot injury gives United a boost.

The attacker is ruled out for 10 weeks, as he faces a race to be back for the quarter finals - should PSG get there.

"After detailed analysis by the specialists, a consensus was reached of a conservative treatment of Neymar Jr's injury to the fifth right metatarsal," said a PSG statement.

"Informed of this recommendation, Paris Saint-Germain's Brazilian international striker agreed with this protocol. As a result, Neymar Jr is expected to return to the field within 10 weeks.

"Paris Saint-Germain sends its strongest support and encouragement to Neymar Jr to overcome this injury, with the courage and determination that the player has always shown."
