PSG signing Mauro Icardi insists he wants the best for Inter Milan.

Icardi is on-loan at PSG from Inter this season.

He said, “I didn't expect so much support from the fans.

“They welcomed me right from my first warm-up at Parc des Princes. I then had the good fortune of playing right away against Real Madrid, before picking up a slight injury.

“I'm fine now, I've got going again, even if I have to keep working because I had a complicated summer and I wasn't 100 percent when I arrived in Paris.

“If PSG were to face Inter, I'd live it in the best way. If it was up to me, I'd go out as a professional and give my best to defend my new shirt.

“I'm at PSG this season and my objective is to give my best for this shirt. Then, at the end of the season, around May or June time, we'll see what happens. It's still too early to say anything.

“I can only wish the best for Inter in every competition. I still have many friends in Milan. With Conte, it can be a good year for the Scudetto."
