PSG held firm last week in Newcastle United's late attempts to sign Stanley N'Soki.

Newcastle had been chasing the teenager all summer, but the Premier League market shut last week with N'Soki still in Paris.

Local media sources say Newcastle went as high as €13m for N'Soki on Thursday, but it still wasn't enough for PSG to sell.

For his part, N'Soki was keen on a move to England, having resisted a new contract offer from PSG.

The teen could yet move before the end of the month with Olympique Marseille now keen.
