PSG defender Marquinhos says the players need to keep their head down after their Champions League elimination by Manchester United.
PSG blew a 0-2 first-leg lead to be dumped out of the competition 3-3 on aggregate.
Marquinhos stated afterwards: "There is no excuse for our own game. We still have to analyse this, think carefully and then become men. This is a difficult moment.
"It is a good time to keep your mouth shut. As we say in Brazil: it's time to clean up our own s***. This is really terrible. We have to keep working hard."
Skipper Thiago Silva also said: "We were working on a good campaign and yet it ends here. That is football. Nothing was right today. I ask the fans to forgive us.
"To give a penalty like that, in the last minute ... I did not see the images, but ... I was told that three referees looked at it and they all came to the conclusion that it was a penalty kick. Sad, because with only a minute on the clock, we did not have enough time to respond."
