PSG owners back Leonardo bid for Man Utd striker Berbatov

PSG are ready to go to £11 million for Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov.

The Daily Mail says the ambitious French side were keen to test United's resolve to keep the Bulgarian last month.

Following the arrival of new football chief Leonardo from Inter Milan they are ready to put an offer on the table although Berbatov remains keen on staying at Old Trafford.

Leonardo has the backing of PSG's new Qatari owners to bid for Berbatov.
