PSG midfielder Idrissa Gueye: They had me joining Chelsea in January

PSG midfielder Idrissa Gueye has dismissed talk of him being transfer-listed.

Gueye has been linked with Wolves this past week. But the Senegal international insists he's only thinking of a future with PSG.

After five years away from France, the midfielder left Everton last summer for PSG, where he has shone - particularly in the Champions League. And it's been this form which has led to reports linking him with a return to England.

It's been claimed Wolves see Gueye as a replacement for Ruben Neves. However, he insists he's only thinking of making a future for himself in Paris. Indeed, Gueye says he's getting used to the speculation, revealing reports of a potential move to Chelsea reaching him in January.

He told local Senegalese media via TMW: "I'm used to it, every transfer window is the same for me.

"Even in January, after only six months, it seemed that I was already going to Chelsea. I am often in contact with (sporting director) Leonardo and everything is going well.

"There has never been a problem, nobody has ever told me about a sale and I don't want to leave."

Former Lille, Aston Villa and Everton midfielder Gueye, now 30 years of age, has a contract with PSG to 2023. Gueye has managed 31 appearances in all competitions in his first season at the Parc des Princes.
