Crystal Palace target Yohan Cabaye is reportedly seeking wages in the vicinity of £100,000 a week to join former boss Alan Pardew at Selhurst Park.
The Mirror is reporting that Palace co-chairman Steve Parish is willing to find a way to make the deal work based on Pardew's recommendation.
Cabaye and Pardew spent three seasons together at Premier League outfit Newcastle United.
It is understood that Cabaye wants out at Paris Saint-Germain and the French club is willing to oblige, should they receive the right offer.
Varying reports suggest that Cabaye will join Palace for between £10m and £12.5m if personal terms can be agreed.
