PSG lose 2 stars for Man Utd clash

PSG have lost Marco Verratti and Mauro Icardi for their Champions League clash with Manchester United.

Verratti, Icardi and Thilo Kehrer have each been sidelined and now stand as highly unlikely to feature in the match in Paris on Tuesday night.

Verratti has picked up a thigh issue while on international duty with Italy, while striker Icardi is still on the comeback trail from a knee injury.

Both players were key components in PSG's run to the final last season, and will be missed by the Parisians as they lock horns with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men, says the Daily Mail.

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has also admitted this week that a hamstring injury is set to keep German defender Kehrer out for 'a few weeks' meaning he will miss the fixture.

United face a tough task to navigate from the groups after also being pitted against RB Leipzig and Istanbul Basaksehir.
