Talk of PSG making a late bid for Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen has been dismissed in France.

PSG have been linked with a £100m move for Eriksen after being frustrated in their pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

But a club source told Le Parisien: "This information is all the less credible because PSG is not able today to pay such a sum whether it is for Eriksen or Ivan Rakitic."

The problem facing PSG is UEFA and their probe into the club's transfer spending. It is still to be decided whether PSG are in compliance with Financial Fair Play laws.
