West Ham United are pushing French champions Paris Saint-Germain over a deal for Thilo Kehrer.

The centre-half is a key target for manager David Moyes this summer.

The Hammers are hopeful of adding a quality defender to their squad before the transfer window slams shut.

According to the Daily Express, Kehrer is open to a move this summer, as he wants regular first-team football.

However, the issue is PSG's £16 million valuation of the player, which West Ham do not want to pay.

They are set to receive an injection of funds, having agreed to sell Issa Diop to Fulham for £15 million.
