PSG confident seeing off Chelsea attempts for Mukiele

PSG are confident burning off competition from Chelsea for RB Leipzig fullback Nordi Mukiele.

Mukiele was expected to move to PSG this week after terms had been struck with RBL.

However, the move appeared to stall as Chelsea made contact with RBL with a counter offer.

But Le 10 Sport says PSG management remain confident their deal for Mukiele remains watertight.

Asked about Mukiele after victory over Gamba Osaka in Japan, PSG coach Christophe Galtier replied: “I read you, I listen to you. The club is working to improve and strengthen this squad.

"We're going to take the plane, we're going to take a long 12-hour trip, we're going to sleep and when we land we'll have maybe one or two, even three more players, four, five (smile). We will see what will unfold this week."
