PSG coach Unai Emery is chasing Real Sociedad fullback Yuri Berchiche.

Marca says the San Sebastian club could demand 30 million euros from the French team, which is the amount stated in his release clause and an amount they would not be prepared to stretch too.

The 27-year-old, who is represented by Pere Guardiola, told Marca in a recent interview that he would meet with La Real's president Jokin Aperribay this summer to discuss a revision of his contract, which runs until 2020.

Aperribay is receptive to a restructuring of the player's deal, given that the last renewal was carried out when he was still a backup, before an excellent 2016/17 campaign saw Yuri become the starter and saw his stock rise in the transfer market.

From Yuri's point of view, the chance to move to the Parc des Princes would be enticing, as he could fight for titles and enjoy Champions League football.
