PSG coach Thomas Tuchel was left frustrated after their 3-2 Champions League defeat at Liverpool.

Tuchel insists the defeat "doesn't make sense".

He said, "Does this defeat make sense? Not at all. We had the opportunity with Julian Draxler (just before the third goal). We had a great first half, it did not make sense for Liverpool to put in two goals.

"After, we did not let go, we played with courage. In the second half, we lost a lot of easy balls. It was Anfield. We did not lose confidence or our defensive organisation in the second half.

"In the end it was hard, yes, but this defeat is not logical."
