With Chelsea and Manchester United rumoured to be pursuing the Uruguayan along with Atletico Madrid, Tuchel said he cannot rule out the possibility of the 32-year-old moving on after six-and-a-half seasons at the Parc des Princes.
"We don't want to lose a player but it can happen, it's reality. We have to wait, maybe nothing will happen. I'm calm," said the German.
"[PSG sporting director] Leonardo said everything and that's good.
"Edi is my player and I'm happy it is like that."
