PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino has been snubbed for the Ligue 1 manager of the year award - despite leading the Parisiens to the title.

The former Tottenham boss did not even earn a nomination for the gong.

Christophe Galtier (Nice), Jorge Sampaoli (Marseille), Bruno Genesio (Stade Rennais), Julien Stephan (RC Strasbourg Alsace) and Antoine Kombouare (Nantes) have all been nominated for the award.

PSG have taken Ligue 1 by storm once again this season, securing the title last month with four games to spare.

But, Pochettino has still faced criticism for not competing for the Champions League title.

PSG failed to progress past the round-of-16 after suffering defeat to Real Madrid.
