PSG chiefs Tuchel and Leonardo split on Aubameyang move

PSG chiefs are at loggerheads over the prospect of moving for Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

With a year to run on his contract, Aubameyang is expected to be cashed in by Arsenal this summer.

Le 10 Sport says PSG coach Thomas Tuchel is a fan, having worked with Aubameyang at Borussia Dortmund, and has been pushing management to move for him.

But his opinion isn't shared by sports director Leonardo, who is unconvinced by the Gabon international.

Indeed, when the debate was at it's height, Leonardo vetoed Tuchel's opinion and chose to trigger the permanent option in Mauro Icardi's loan deal from Inter Milan.

Aubameyang remains on the radar of PSG, though Juventus have moved to the front of the queue for the goalscorer.
