PSG chief Maxwell: We've not changed attitude towards (improving) Man Utd

PSG chief Maxwell insists they always regarded Champions League opponents Manchester United highly.

Since the round 16 draw, United have transformed their season under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Maxwell said, "The balance of power remained completely the same. All that has been said since the draw, it has been judged by the press, by the people. But the forces are the same. We have a lot of respect for them, they have a lot for us, I'm sure. Nothing has changed in relation to that.

"There is no favourite. There is one club that has a great history in the Champions League, another that is looking for its way to be competitive every year. Two large numbers, big players left, coaches with desires. So the forces are the same, nothing has changed compared to December.

"The only thing that will make the difference is the terrain. All that is said around, before and after the match, are stories that are told by the other characters. But the players are focused on the match."
