PSG captain Thiago Silva is backing their move for Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye.

Silva says Gueye will be welcome to PSG if a deal goes through.

"Gueye? I do not know him very much," said the Brazil defender.

"He is a high level player because PSG will not look for players who are not going to get into the team. If he comes we will try to help him settle quickly.

"But of course all top players are welcome in Paris."
