PSG ace Lionel Messi plans to wait before making a decision about next season.

The Argentina captain's current deal now has less than 12 months to run.

PSG are keen to extend the arrangement, though Messi also has an offer from Inter Miami, while former club Barcelona have opened the door to a sensational return.

Barca coach Xavi has spoken directly to Messi about returning next summer. Joan Laporta, the Barca president, has also been sounding out Messi's representatives in an effort to ease tension between the pair.
