Watford defender Sebastian Prodl admits the club needs points soon or they risk relegation.
The Hornets have two points from eight games heading into the international break.
Prodl said: "We need to step forward, we need to get positive results in and we can't waste any more time.
"We want to maintain our status as a Premier League club and the sooner we face reality, the better it is to get out and the easier it will become to get out [of the relegation zone]. We face another tough opponent away next (Tottenham) — that's the Premier League. It doesn't matter if it is Sheffield or Tottenham, we need points."
