Problems starting to mount at Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur are going through a mini crisis after their disappointing start to the season.

Spurs have not begun the campaign with any consistency, continuing their poor vein of league form since the tail end of last season.

Their most recent setback was a 2-1 defeat to Leicester City.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino may feel the atmosphere at the club is very different, compared to the time they reached the Champions League final last season.

According to the Daily Mail, a discontented squad, agitated manager, and potentially too expensive summer squad rebuild are causing problems at Spurs.

Pochettino may want to jump ship for a big job, such as Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, star players like Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld are nearing the conclusion of their contracts, which means they need to be replaced by players of similar quality.
