Manchester United youngster Alvaro Fernandez admits he and the club must sit down to discuss his future.
The Spaniard has been at Preston North End in the Championship this season, registering six assists in 40 appearances.
Fernandez wants to play regular football next term, but knows that may not be a possibility at his parent club.
Fernandez told LancsLive:"I think I will go to speak with them (United) in one or two weeks.
“They will say that I need to come back in pre-season - to United - then we will speak again, after training, to see what happens and what they want.
"The world is crazy.. you never know in football.
“Erik ten Hag, he has to choose! I am happy for them because they are doing very well.
“They changed a few things in the team - some tactics - and they are doing very well."
