Preston North End have rejected claims that Callum Robinson is on his way to Norwich City.

Deepdale chiefs appear to have reacted angrily to reports that their Robinson is a £6million target for Norwich.

Sky Sports reported that the Premier League new boys had lodged a bid for the Republic of Ireland forward this morning, but the Lancashire club issued a swift response.

They tweeted: "Contrary to reports in the media, Preston North End can confirm that they have no bids on the table for any of their players."

Robinson scored 13 goals for the Lilywhites last season.
