Preston North End boss Ryan Lowe has revealed the club are in contact with Liverpool over extending Sepp van den Berg's stay at Deepdale.
The Dutch defender has spent over 12 months on loan at the Championship outfit.
Van den Berg, 20, has played 57 times for Preston during that time, and Lowe is keen to keep him beyond this season.
"With Sepp, Liverpool were in here the other day for a full day, watching what we do and how we go about it," Lowe told LancsLive.
"We're in contact with them but again, it's down to Sepp and what he wants to do."
Signed as a teenager from PEC Zwolle in 2019, van den Berg has played just four times for the Reds.
