PREMIER LEAGUE STATS SPECIAL: Liverpool defence rebooted and Swansea clinch Man Utd double

Liverpool's defence away from home has found an extra sturdiness while Swansea City grabbed a rare double over Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend.

GUZAN MAKES IT 100 IN A ROW

- Brad Guzan's appearance in Aston Villa's 2-1 loss to Stoke City was his 100th consecutive BPL outing making him the first player to achieve the feat since Jon Walters did so for the Potters in October 2013.

SWANSEA DO MAN UTD DOUBLE

- Swansea City's 2-1 win over Manchester United was the first time they have completed a winning double over the Red Devils in their history. They also saluted 2-1 at Old Trafford in August.

- Sergio Aguero's 2nd-minute penalty in Manchester City's 5-0 win over Newcastle United was the fifth time he has scored in seven BPL appearances against the Toon.

WEST HAM USING THEIR HEADS

- Cheikhou Kouyate's 22nd-minute header in West Ham United's 2-2 draw at Tottenham was the west London side's 15th headed effort this season, beating Liverpool's 14 of last term, with 12 matches remaining.

SPURS ENJOY LATE FLOURISH

- Tottenham's two late goals to force their 2-2 draw with the Hammers has taken their tally of recovered points from losing positions to 15 this season, equaling Crystal Palace at the top of this particular statistic list.

2-2 IS THE ORDER OF THE DAY IN THE PREM

- Everton and Leicester City's 2-2 draw was the 21st scoreline of its kind this season, four more than the entire 2013/14 BPL season.

CLEAN SHEETS ON THE ROAD FOR THE REDS

- Liverpool's 2-0 win at Southampton was their fifth BPL clean sheet in a row away from home. They have not achieved this feat since 1985.
