Premier League's biggest chasing Swansea defender Joe Rodon

The field battling for Swansea City defender Joe Rodon is widening.

WalesOnline says Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea have been monitoring his progress and could be prepared to meet his £20million valuation.

Rodon, 22, has risen through the ranks at the Championship side and earned plaudits for his excellent displays over the past two seasons - earning four caps for Wales.

The 6ft 4in centre-back has been compared to John Stones for his technical ability, passing range and confidence in possession.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are hopeful that Rodon will follow in the footsteps of friend Daniel James, who has made 37 appearances in his debut campaign at Old Trafford having been recommended by Ryan Giggs.
