Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson will be ordered to attend all post-match media conferences next season.
The Sunday Mirror says Ferguson is the only manager in the country who consistently refuses to face journalists after the final whistle.
His only exceptions at Champions League ties where, under the rules of the competition, all managers are contractually obligated to give their thoughts on the game.
Now, though, Premier League bosses are ready to draw up regulations that will guarantee wider media access to managers.
An insider said:" We would like to make it part of our rules that managers have to make themselves available to the media after games."
