West Ham United scored a monumental London derby win over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
The Hammers edged Spurs 1-0 at the final Upton Park meeting between the local rivals which put a slight dent in the title aspirations of Mauricio Pochettino's men.
On the Argentine's 44th birthday, Slaven Bilic's men ruined the party courtesy of Michail Antonio's first-half goal which came with a sublime front-post header from Dimitri Payet's corner.
The goal was the former non-league winger's second in two games and fifth in his past 10 as he continues to show his importance to the East London outfit.
Hammers captain Mark Noble forced a top-drawer save from Hugo Lloris with a fine 15th-minute strike as Spurs escaped going two goals down by inches.
Tottenham were unlucky not to equalise just after the hour-mark when Toby Alderweireld tried his luck from range with Adrian making a fine save with Harry Kane unable to follow-up the rebound.
Adrian was then called on to punch away Christian Eriksen's well-struck angled effort before Kane missed an unmarked back-post attempt from Eriksen's brilliant cross in what was a major let-off for West Ham.
In the end however, the Hammers recorded a memorable victory against an arch enemy to go sixth on the table, just a point off fourth-placed Manchester City, while Spurs states second but are three points in arrears of league leaders Leicester City.
