Prem trio rival Forest for Everton defender Michael Keane

Nottingham Forest face stiff competition for Everton defender Michael Keane.

The 29-year-old, who has been capped 12 times by England, is set to go out on loan after falling down the pecking order at Goodison Park. And Forest boss Steve Cooper is right at the front of the queue to take him as he looks to lift his side up and away from the relegation zone.

But Leicester, West Ham and Fulham are also eyeing moves for the former Manchester United youngster, meaning Forest are in a battle to sign him, says the Mirror.

Keane has already had one loan spell at Leicester.

During the 2012-13 season, he spent six months with the East Midlands club, helping them reach the Championship play-offs.
