Former Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen is in talks about a Premier League return.
Eriksen hasn't played since suffering a cardiac arrest while representing Denmark against Finland at Euro 2020 last summer.
He is a free agent after his contract at Inter Milan was terminated due to him not being allowed to play in Serie A with an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator.
The Times says the 29-year-old has been approached by several unnamed English top flight clubs and could seal a return to the Premier League this week. There is also interest in Eriksen from clubs across Europe but he is eager to come back to England.
Eriksen played for Tottenham between 2013 and 2020, during which time he made 305 appearances, scored 69 goals and provided 90 assists. He has spent time training with Swiss club Chiasso and previously trained with Odense, where he played as a youngster.
