Tottenham hero Gus Poyet can see Christian Eriksen moving to Real Madrid.

Poyet admits he's a big fan of the Dane.

He told AS: "He always caught my attention. He understands football, he can play in many positions, he strikes the ball exceptionally, he assumes responsibilities ... The closer he is to the area, the more he influences the game, but if you are losing and you need more defence to start more offensively, he is also worth it."

Poyet also spoke of Spurs' interest in Real midfielder Dani Ceballos.

"It's very complicated. With my mentality, of more than 50 years, I would stay in Madrid. But there are things that I do not know, and Madrid is unique.

The main thing is that he is wanted by (Spurs boss Mauricio) Pochettino."
