Sunderland boss Gus Poyet admits they're missing a spark after their 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.
Poyet refused to criticise the effort of his charges but knows the X-factor which sent Sunderland climbing up the table in January, is no longer there.
"I can't ask for a lot more but we need someone to do something spectacular and that's not happening," he said.
"What's missing is an Adam Johnson in January, someone who is going to be player of the month and who will keep us up. That's what we need right now.
"If we have that player in April, then I'm telling you, we'll stay up.
"I'm not asking them as a form of criticism, it's about standing up."
