Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell is set to make a return to training after a year on the sidelines.

Powell has not made a competitive appearance since last December and underwent knee surgery to rectify a long standing problem.

After nearly a year out though, Powell finally looks set to make his return to full fitness.

Announcing the good news, the United youngster posted the following message on Twitter:
