Brighton boss Graham Potter only had good things to say about two of the youngsters he started in the Carabao Cup.
The Albion managed a 2-1 win against Bristol Rovers in the English cup competition.
After the game, Potter spoke about the impact of Aaron Connolly and Steven Alzate.
Potter said to reporters: "Aaron gets his goal and he worked tirelessly.
"I thought Steven Alzate was as good as anyone on the pitch.
"His contribution for the second goal was nice to see.
"He has been working really well in pre-season.
"Both of those guys have been working with us in the group and it's nice to have them with us. They didn't look out of place."
