Brighton boss Graham Potter has declared Shane Duffy a club legend.
Potter made the claim before last night's 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace. The 29-year-old spent last season at Scottish PremiershipCeltic, but has returned to the starting XI this campaign and has proved invaluable in the strong start to the campaign.
Potter said, “Shane is a club legend. For what he has achieved here - helping the team get promoted and what he's done in the Premier League. Everyone loves him at the club.
“He's a fantastic guy and a great character. Everyone is delighted that he's back, playing and enjoying his football.
“He's someone you want in your corner. He supports the team, he supports the boys on the pitch. He's a fighter, he's a warrior. You want those guys with you in hostile environments and Selhurst Park on a Monday night is one of those things."
