Australia boss Ange Postecoglou is looking to secure a number of international friendlies ahead of next year's AFC Asian Cup.
The Socceroos have just two more fixtures - against South Africa in May and Croatia in early June - before setting off for Brazil for the 2014 World Cup which begins in mid-June.
Following their World Cup obligations, the Aussies will look ahead to the 2015 Asian Cup which takes place in their homeland in January and Postecoglou insists there will be a number of matches organised to prepare for Asia's showcase tournament.
"There's a pretty important time post-World Cup where there's a few windows for us to play some games," he said.
"Probably the only thing I'm lacking in the World Cup build-up is games with the players.
"I want to make sure we're well prepared for the Asian Cup, so we've begun some preliminary planning for those friendlies.
"So once the draw is done, we'll try to put our program together pretty quickly."
Australia take on reigning champions Spain, runners-up Holland Chile in Group B of the 2014 World Cup.
