Portugal are fearing the worst regarding the fitness of Diogo Jota for the World Cup.
The European nation will be hoping their front line is fully fit going into the winter tournament in Qatar.
However, Liverpool's Jota may be a worry, as he was stretchered off during his side's 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
The 25-year-old seemed to overstretch when he was trying to make a forward pass to a teammate.
He came off near the end of the clash, and appeared to be in significant discomfort.
His manager Jurgen Klopp said post-game: “We miss the next one with Diogo.
“He felt real pain in that moment but I have no idea how bad it is. If Diogo stays down it is not good."
