Portsmouth will return to the High Court at the start of March for the next hearing regarding the winding-up petition brought against the club by HMRC. Pompey have been given seven days to provide a statement of affairs, but will not be back in court until Monday March 1.

A club statement read: "Portsmouth Football Club has been informed by the High Court today that the hearing of the winding-up petition against the club by HMRC has been provisionally fixed for Monday, March 1.

"The club is working towards bringing new finance into the business and is in advanced talks with prospective buyers."
