Portsmouth are on the verge of signing Kelvin Etuhu according to Sky Sports.

The 23-year old former Manchester City man, who was released by the club last March following a jail term for assault, has been training with Pompey.

It is believed that the south coast club are keen to deal Etuhu in with a contract likely to be finalised very soon.
