Portsmouth could set up a swap deal for Reading winger Stephen Hunt.

The News says Blues boss Paul Hart is still keen on Reading's Hunt, and believes the controversial Irishman could add some bite and energy to his midfield.

Hunt has a £5m release clause in his contract, but Reading would be willing to do business for £3.5m.

There is even the possibility of a swap deal, with Royals director of football Nicky Hammond attending Pompey's pre-season friendlies at the Hawks and Basingstoke.
