Portsmouth owner Al Faraj still to see new club in action

Portsmouth owner Ali Al Faraj was not at their defeat to Manchester United at Fratton Park on Saturday.

The Telegraph says despite rumours to the contrary, Faraj was not at Portsmouth's 4-1 defeat against Manchester United on Saturday and is still yet to attend a game since he acquired 90 per cent of the club for nothing from previous owner Sulaiman al-Fahim, almost two months ago.

Having sacked Paul Hart, Faraj has also had limited contact with Avram Grant and the new manager admitted that he could only remember meeting the Saudi Arabian property developer once or twice.
