Portsmouth insist Balram Chainrai has not bought into the club.
Portsmouth have denied a report that the £15 million loan provided to the club by Balram Chainrai has effectively given the Hong Kong-based businessman control at Fratton Park.
"A company that he is beneficial owner of has provided funding," a club source told The Times. "There has been no change of ownership."
