Out of contract Portsmouth defender Hermann Hreidarsson would be interested in a summer switch to Rangers, claims his agent. Gardarsson told the Scottish Sun: "I know Hermann is one of the options Rangers have looked at. He is out of contract in the summer and already a couple of clubs have said they want to get him on board."
He added: "I'm not sure what will happen in terms of Hermann's future. Only time will tell.
"But Hermann likes the idea of playing in Scotland and he would do a good job there.
"He has played his club football in England for a long time and this would be something new.
"People will talk about his age but his physical condition is fantastic. He can play for another three or four years."
