Portsmouth are expected to wrap up a deal for Danny Webber today.

The News says despite some reports, the deal has not yet gone through, although is expected to be sealed within the next 24 hours.

Webber has impressed Paul Hart following a brief Fratton Park trial.

The former Manchester United youngster has netted 47 goals in 213 career appearances during spells at Port Vale, Watford and Sheffield United.
