Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie says the restructuring of the Premier League is still on the agenda.
Storrie was present at the Premier League's quarterly meeting in London on Thursday.
One of the topics of conversation was Bolton chairman Phil Gartside's proposal for a new two-tier, 38-team Premier League.
Storrie told The News: "We discussed the structure of the league.
"We can consider looking at that and it is something which can be discussed going forward. Phil Gartside's plans were put forward and are something that will be back on the agenda in future.
"The distribution of television money is part of the issue. It's something we will look at. We will see what goes on at the next meeting in February."
